An independent digital publication on art, travel, literature and all things blue.
Dorothy Blue is an independent digital magazine exploring art, literature, and places worth slowing down for, with a signature lens on mother-and-teen journeys. It takes its first name from Dorothy Parker's deadpan wit and its second from the colour that quietly anchors every piece. Founded September 2026.

Postcards: hotels & stays
What makes Postcards distinct is its editorial angle: mother-and-teen travel seen through the eyes of a budding artist and writer. Rather than a standard hotel review, we explore design-forward stays with a multi-generational creative focus — a property's art collection, quiet reading nooks, architecture and surrounding culture.
Our Postcards coverage includes:
- Editorial feature — on dorothyblue.life, focusing on the stay, the design and the atmosphere.
- Drawing — an original hand drawing or design by the teen.
- Visual storytelling — themed, poetic photos and short films highlighting your art, design and architectural details.
We maintain total editorial freedom. If a stay, press admission or travel experience was hosted or provided, we disclose this transparently within the article. We only feature places, books and exhibitions we genuinely recommend to our readers.
